Sliced Up Press was formed in 2020, with the goal of delivering peculiar horror fiction with an edge.
Trigger warning statement (updated Jan 2025):
Our anthologies & short story collections include spoiler-free trigger warnings at the end of each book. These are to help people make an informed decision, and not to invite debate over the merits of our decision to include them.
We do not believe that books should have a ratings system akin to other forms of media, but we do believe that offering extra information to help people decide whether a book is for them or not is a kindness to readers.
AI policy (updated Jan 2025):
We do not believe in or condone the use of any generative AI programs/software/website etc. to brainstorm, create, submit or use in any other way related to submissions for publication in our books, nor for any cover art or interior artwork we may commission. As of Jan 2025 our contracts have been updated to reflect this, and any works we may choose to publish will need to adhere to the same anti-AI ethos. We reserve the right to remove any writing or artwork found to be generated using AI in whole or in part from publication without notice, and any submissions to future projects which have used generative AI as outlined above will be deleted without reply. Similarly, we expressly forbid the use of any of our past, present or future works for use in training AI programs/software etc.
